How many pupils does the school have ?
In 2002/2003, the school haded
98 pupils and 7 bands, including 3 independent bands. In 2003/2004,
the school haded 90 pupils and 7 bands, including 4 independent
bands. In 2004/2005, the school haded 78 pupils and 6 bands plus one choir,
including 3 independent bands. The number of members was 73 in 2005/2006
and 75 in 2006/2007.

The association was founded in 1985 by two former teachers of the music school of Sannois, Jean Caillez and Olivier Charmeux, and by parents of pupils. Puzzle became jazz school in 1989. |
What are the concerts in which the school took part
?
Apart from the Puzzle
concerts, which take place once or twice a year and which consist in
showing the work of all the bands affiliated to the school, the
concerts which are not organized only by the independent bands were
rather numerous. However, it is possible to give a short list of
them : concert in "octophonie" as part of the urban fair
called "Sannois Sidéral" (1991), first jazz night
in Sannois (1993), opening of the Espace Michel Berger or EMB (1994),
"Play it again" as part of the cinema centenary (1995),
master class with Baseline (1996).
Which is the originality of the Puzzle education ?
Puzzle is a jazz school
which gives a dual ecuation without any examination. The mixing
of theory with practice makes it possible to eliminate the daunting
aspect often attributed to the musical notation.
Which are the requirements to take part
in a band ?
To take part in a
school band, there is no particular requirement. However, one can
only express the wish for doing it, because the decision is the one of
the board of directors and of the head teachers, according
to the planned formation and course of each band at the
beginning of the school year.
To take part in an independent
band, there is no particular requirement. It is only necessary that the
other members agree, and that the new member pays his membership when
joining the band.
How to get
to the "Accès
Adhérents" sections ?

Some browsers do not allow to go to these sections. As regards the password, it is given when you join the association. However, if you did not get it, or if you forgot it, you can contact the webmaster. |
Who contact when needed ?
For a need of an administrative nature, you can
contact the coordinator of the association or the president of the

teacher in charge of the course which interests you, the head teacher
of the band which interests you, or the person in charge of the independent band which interests you. You can find
